A comprehensive calendar of business and technical training programs is offered including: business management, estimating and contracting, OH&S courses, rescue and resuscitation. Training is provided in conjunction with preferred training providers. RACCA also cooperate with TAFE providing CIV courses.

UEE21911--Certificate II Electronics (Subsidised by the NSW Government)
 

Enrolments are open for the Superior Training Centre's Certificate II Electronics course.

This qualification will:

-Teach you how to, step by step: select, assemble, design and repair electronic devices.

-Allow you, after completion, to continue into a number of industries, with the most prosperous being Electrotechnology or Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

-Make a difference with employers! Students with nationally recognised training are a step ahead of the rest.

The Superior Training Centre have stated that this is an entry level course/the first step for those who are thinking of pursuing a career as an electrician or an air conditioning and refrigeration mechanic. Once participants complete this course, they continue onto a Certificate III in their respective interest areas.

Entry Requirements:

-There are no formal course entry requirements into this qualification.

-Students are required to have language, literacy and numeracy skills as required to undertake these workplace functions.

Costs and Dates:

The Superior Training Centre have stated that the course is subsidised by the NSW Government. Its full price is around $4,200, with subsidisation, this brings the cost down to around $1,200 (even lower for those on Centrelink).

The Superior Training Centre are aiming to having the course start on 20 July. The course will run twice a week from 5pm to 8pm.

The Superior Training Centre is located in Ingleburn, only minutes away from the Ingleburn train station with classrooms, practical rooms and workshops.
