Increased Renewable Energy Targets to Decrease Emissions

The Victoria Government is set to introduce the Renewable Energy (Jobs and Investment) Amendment Bill 2019 into Parliament today. The bill puts Victoria on track to growing its Renewable Energy Target by 50% and boost an additional 24,000 in job creation by 2030. Record investment in solar energy has pushed Australia ahead as an energy superstar leading the world in per capita deployment rate for renewables. Implementation of this strong renewable focus encourages the adoption of eco-friendly projects which will eventually drive down power costs for Victorians.
