Scientists at California-based company SkyCool are innovating a material that will make radiative cooling processes possible for adoption into homes. Similar to how a solar panel reflects the light and heat of the sun, the invention insulates a system of pipes from heat exposure to effectively keep the fluid cooler than the surrounding temperature.
Environmentally-friendly low emissions cooling strategies stand to have significant impact on reducing global energy consumption.
