Researchers from the University of Melbourne have discovered COVID-19 can be spread through air exchange when there is inadequate ventilation.

While the World Health Organisation maintains that the virus is mainly spread through direct or close contact, the findings from the UoM indicate modification of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems  in public facilities is needed to manage airflows to prevent coronavirus infections.
