Beijer Ref Academy, in partnership with the Superior Training Centre, is excited to announce new training dates for 2025. This highly anticipated course focuses on Low Global Warming Potential (GWP) and flammable refrigerants. It is designed for refrigeration and air conditioning technicians who want to enhance their knowledge and skills in handling these refrigerants.
The training will take place over two days and will travel across different locations in Australia throughout 2025. This mobile format was well-received during the 2024 sessions, which were held in Queensland, Victoria, and Tasmania. Many technicians appreciated the convenience and accessibility of having the training brought closer to their regions.
What’s Covered in the Course?
The course is nationally recognized and provides essential knowledge and practical skills in three key areas:
- Safety Awareness and Legal Requirements for Flammable Refrigerants (UEERA0007):This module focuses on ensuring technicians understand safety practices and the legal regulations when working with flammable refrigerants.
- Service and Repair of Self-Contained Flammable Refrigerant Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems (UEERA0084):Technicians learn how to safely service and repair systems that use flammable refrigerants.
- Installation and Commissioning of Flammable Refrigerant Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems (UEERA0048):This part teaches the correct methods for installing and commissioning these systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
