Climate Control News have published findings of a research report, which detail how HVAC systems will adapt to smart technology over the next four years.
According to Climate Control News’ article, the research report, which was conducted by market research company, Technavio, the Asia Pacific region remains the largest market for chillers accounting for 300,000 units as of 2013. In 2013, chillers represented 74 percent of the global market and almost 50 percent in revenue.
Climate Control News’ article focused on the three trends that Technavio’s report identified: integration with the Internet of Things (IoT), the emergence of smart technology and a growing preference for interoperability.

Manufacturers are also slowly switching to a local operating network to make their systems open and ready for interoperability.
