The 2018 National Construction Code (NCC) Information Seminars are available online for viewing.

The Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) put together a series of webcasts, six videos, of the NCC Information Seminars and uploaded them onto YouTube. The webcasts includes updates on the Building Code of Australia (BCA), performance-based design and plumbing.

The six webcasts are: NCC 2016 Volume One Amendment, NCC 2019 Public Comment Draft, the Improved CodeMark Scheme, Performance-Based Design, Performance-Based Design: Case Study, and Plumbing Code of Australia update.

According to the ABCB’s website, the NCC 2016 Volume One Amendment, NCC 2019 Public Comment Draft and the Improved CodeMark Scheme webcasts “discuss contemporary issues such as fire safety, amendments and product certification”, while the Performance-Based Design webcasts focused on the “practical development and assessment of Performance Solutions.”

The ABCB’s website also states that although an update of the Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA) didn’t form part of the Seminar, the video provides an update for 2019 and relevant information.

All the webcasts vary in length from as short as four-and-a-half minutes up to 42 minutes, and are available to watch on YouTube.
