
Congratulations to our 2021 HVACR Leadership Award winners!
Presented by Climate Control News, the event celebrates excellence in the industry and recognises the best of the best.
The seven categories that this year’s outstanding list of nominees competed for include: Male and Female Rising Stars, Energy Savings & Sustainability, Woman of the Year in HVACR, Contractor of the Year, Tradie of the Year, and HVACR Leader of the Year.
Katie Hammill-Lovett of Woolworths Group took out the Female Rising Star Award, while Alex Hawkins of Alpine Refrigeration took out the Male Rising Star Award.
The Leader in Energy Savings & Sustainability Award went to Glaciem Cooling managing director Julian Hudson for his project showcasing refrigeration amidst a net zero future.
Coles Refrigeration and Air Conditioning owner Mitchell Cousins took home the Contractor of the Year Award.
From winning World Skills to accepting a scholarship with the Air Conditioning Mechanical Contractors Association, technician Elliot Rogan took home the Tradie of the Year award.
Joint winners of the HVACR Leader of the Year Award were Cold Rae director Kevin O’Shea and former director of the Australian Refrigeration Council Mark Padwick. The prestigious award recognises those that have worked tirelessly throughout their careers to contribute in the development of the HVACR industry.
