The Air Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors’ Association (AMCA) have launched the first phase of a refrigerant gas management online learning system and resource centre.
AMCA states that the MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) is a free industry source that was developed through industry consultation as well as support from key Australian industry organisations–AREMA, AIRAH, Refrigerants Australia and the Australian Institute of Refrigeration.
The MOOC will contain courses that can be completed online, as well as important refrigerant gas management information. The refrigerant gas management information that will be available will include but not be limited to: safety requirements, site considerations, installation and operation and commissioning.
Registration, which is also free, is required to access the MOOC. Registration can be completed here.
