AIRAH updates popular technical manual

AIRAH have updated their popular Design Application manual, DA20 Humid Tropical Air Conditioning.

According to AIRAH’s media release, the third edition of DA20 Humid Tropical Air Conditioning “provides a holistic approach to design in hot, humid tropical climates.”

AIRAH CEO Tony Gleeson stated in the media release that the primary purpose of the DA20 is to “standardise and promote best-practice design, installation and management of air conditioning and other comfort systems in hot, humid tropical climates.”

The media release also states that the DA20 is specifically aimed towards those who are “involved in the design, selection, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and assessment of buildings or comfort systems in hot, humid tropical climatic regions.”

This year’s version of the DA20 marks the first time that the manual has been updated since the 1990s. Those who are attending AIRAH’s Humidity Issues in Australian Climates Workshop, which is being held today, will receive a free copy.

More information on the DA20 Humid Tropical Air Conditioning, including where to purchase a copy, can be found here.
