learn-868815_640

AIRAH will be hosting a three-week refrigerant gas phase down webinar series.

According to its brochure, the webinars will provide attendees with the knowledge “to identify and manage the transition away from HCFCs and HFCs.” The brochure also emphasises the fact that “strict regulations, standards, and procedures must be followed when handling refrigerants, and air-conditioning equipment must comply with relevant Electrical Safety Standards.”

The webinars will focus on several topics, which include: maintenance, retro-commissioning and chain of custody documentation, exploring options for upgrades or replacement of cooling systems, the timeline of HCFC and HFC phase out, an inventory of assets, measurement and verification (M&V) basics, where to find information and support, and the risks, prices and availability of discontinued gas species.

The webinars will be held in three parts. Part one will be held on Thursday April 20, part two will be held on Thursday April 27,  and part three will be held on Thursday May 4. Michael McCann, Principal Consultant at The Expert Group, will be presenting all three webinars. Registrations for all of the webinars are free.
