The latest version of BITZER’s Refrigerant Report has been released.
The 18th edition of BITZER’S Refrigerant Report provides in-depth information on current refrigerants, alternatives and up-and-coming refrigerant blends.
This edition also reflects on the changes in refrigerants over the last twenty years, in particular the development of less environmentally-impacting refrigerants which resulted in new refrigerants, as well as new blends and alternatives.
This edition of the Report also reflects on the changes in BITZER Refrigerant Reports themselves as they were previously slimmer and only covered the transitions from CFCs to R22, R134a, R407C and R410A. BITZER Refrigerant Reports currently provide vital information on approximately 40 refrigerants.
However the Report also covers slightly less refrigerants than the previous edition and have made no comment on the performance of the refrigerant, instead only listing their properties.
The Report also offers readers important guidance on the Total Equivalent Warming Impact (TEWI) and the manufacturer’s view of the abilities of the proposed alternatives.
