Business.gov.au are providing tips in the form of a series for business owners for taking their businesses online.
The first part of the series, published today, emphasises the benefits of a business website such as allowing business to always be open, increasing target audience, enhancing brand reputation and allowing customers to access products or services at anytime anywhere.
The first part of the series also provides businesses with tips on getting started online, these tips are–creating an online business plan, picking & registering a domain name, deciding if you want a template or custom website design, building a website, choosing a web hosting service suited to your needs and of course launching the website. There is also a further tip to create a mobile friendly website due to the increase of internet use on mobile devices.
The first part of the series also caters to business owners who are not ready to commit to a website or don’t have the funds to hire an expert. These tips include where to advertise on social media, eMarketplaces and online directories.
