Danfoss are producing a series of educational podcasts on evaporative refrigeration.

Hosted by Jens Anderson, Application Development Specialist for Danfoss in Denmark, the Chilling with Jens series consists of nine podcasts to be released over the next few months. Anderson stated in the first podcast that the series is intended for trainees and people who want to know more about the basics of evaporative refrigeration.

Five of the nine podcasts have been released so far–Chapter 1: The evaporation process, Chapter 2: The condensation process, Chapter 3: All about refrigerants, Chapter 4: The parts of a refrigeration system, and Chapter 5: Controlling the evaporation.

The podcasts vary in duration with the shortest at five minutes and the longest at just over 10 minutes.

As well being aimed at trainees and people who want to know more about the basics of evaporative refrigeration, Danfoss also stated on their website that the podcast series is also intended to be a relaxed and accessible learning resource.

“It’s (the podcast series) perfect to listen to during a daily commute, on a morning jog, or even while at work. We hope that cooling industry hopefuls and veterans alike will enjoy having an entertaining new learning resource at their fingertips.”
