Eligible NSW households and small businesses are now able to join the Climate Change Fund program for a discount of $200-1000 on high-efficiency air conditioning purchased through approved installers via Energy Saver. This program is available for both first time air conditioning buyers and those wishing to upgrade existing systems. The initiative has the potential to reduce the cost of electricity bills (around $20 million in state-wide savings) as more energy-efficient units enter the market.
