For its 2024 training program, Woolworths is looking for apprentices in refrigeration who can assist the company reach its 2025 sustainability goals.

According to Woolworths, the refrigeration industry must foster diversity and inclusiveness. The four-year apprenticeship program is with the Facilities Management division. The first three years of the program consist of eight weeks of formal training at TAFE, with the last year of the apprenticeship consisting entirely of on-the-job training.

Successful candidates will receive the chance to create environmentally friendly refrigeration systems, gain experience with cutting-edge global refrigeration technology, and study under industry professionals.

The apprenticeship programs will be available in Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
