Fujitsu General Australia has announced the acquisition by parent company, Fujitsu General Limited, of Precise Air Group (Holding) Pty Limited (PAG).
Precise Air Group is one of Australia’s leading national providers of HVAC, fire and bundled MFEP (mechanical, fire, electrical and plumbing) maintenance services. Through an expanding National Contracts portfolio, Precise Air Group services a diverse range of Australia’s largest companies, government entities, property owners and property managers.
A privately owned Australian business, established in 2002, PAG has over 372 employees nationally. Fujitsu General purchased all of the shares held by PAG management.
“We are committed to the development of our dealer and commercial business and in-line with our strategic plan we want to continue to drive the growth in this channel. The acquisition of PAG will be a cornerstone of our continued growth in these channels. It will serve as the foundation for us to introduce an expanded commercial product line-up and enhance the commercial after-sales service capability of our business, which we know is a key element of success in the commercial air conditioning market.” stated Philip Perham, managing director, Fujitsu General Australia and New Zealand.
“Globally, Fujitsu General is expanding in to design, installation, servicing and maintenance of air conditioning systems in small and medium size commercial buildings.
“Fujitsu General Australia has an extremely successful in-house customer care and technical support division for air conditioning systems, called Fujitsu General Assist, and the addition of Precise Air Group by FGL will enable the business to further expand its commercial offering. Although there are synergies and our businesses share similar values and customer centricity, our intention is for both FGA and PAG to keep their independence, and for both parties it will be business as usual.
“With more than 40 years’ experience in the Australian market, Fujitsu General is looking to the future locally and globally and acquisitions like this one are an important part of our strategy” commented Perham.
