The Calculating Cool-Australia’s first HVAC rating tool is a finalist in the Green Cities’ Weapons of Mass Creation competition.
The Weapons of Mass Creation competition aims to reward sustainable ideas, techniques, technologies and design. This will lead to more innovation and creativity to deliver more sustainable cities.
The Green Cities website states that the finalists in the Weapons of Mass Creation competition will have their submissions presented to the Green Cities 2015 audience in the final session of Day 2 of the Green Cities Conference. The Judges Choice Award will be presented and the Green Cities audience will cast their own votes for their favourite innovation to be awarded the People’s Choice Award. The winning submission will be featured in the Green Building Council of Australia’s (GBCA) Green Building Voice magazine and the Property Council’s Property Australia eZine.
The finalists of the Weapons of Mass Creation competition were chosen by expert judges: Caitlin McGee, Research Principal at the Institute for Sustainable Futures, Robin Mellon, Chief Operating Officer at the GBCA and Geoff Dutaillis, Group Head of Sustainability at Lend Lease.
The Green Cities 2015 Conference is being held in Melbourne from March 17 to 19.
