IBTech @ ARBS

ARBS 2018

ARBS have announced that there is going to be a new and exciting precinct within the exhibition dedicated to Intelligent Buildings Technologies and Solutions–IBTech.

The ARBS website states that the precinct will allow visitors the opportunity to “explore cutting-edge intelligent building technologies and solutions” and that an Insight Series will be held to explore various intelligent building topics. These topics include but are not limited to: threats associated with connected buildings and data protection, how the future of SMART buildings will be affected by technological change, how to design and future proof buildings for the Internet of Things (IoT), what makes a workplace smart and how intelligent buildings change the occupants experience and productivity, and the role of smart sensors, energy harvesting, and wireless technologies when preparing for smart cities.

The ARBS website also states that there will be product demonstrations at the precinct where attendees can interact with SMART building technology, and benefit from live demonstrations of industry-specific SMART building products and solutions. A live integration project will also be taking place, involving the connection of as many devices as possible to the Cloud and sharing data, with the outcomes presented to the attendees.
