Business.gov.au are providing tips to businesses to help get their business finances under control in this new financial year.
Their tips focus specifically on using financial professionals and organising finances.
Business.gov.au emphasise the fact that it may be difficult for business owners to manage their finances, whilst running the business and therefore recommend using the services of financial professionals. The financial professionals that they recommend for business owners to consider hiring include accountants, bookkeepers and Business Activity Statement (BAS) Agents.
Business.gov.au also emphasise a range of issues that business owners need to consider when trying to organise their finances. These issues can include whether they are legally obligated to have a separate bank account for business, what kind of bookkeeping system to use and managing cash flow.
