NSW Fair Trading will be holding three Home Buildings Licensees’ information seminars next month.
All three seminars will focus on providing information to builders, swimming pool builders and tradespeople to comply with home building laws while on the job.
The topics that will be covered, related to home building laws include: meeting government regulatory requirements, home building licensing, statutory warranties, dispute resolution, building contractual obligations, compliance and the Home Building Compensation Fund (HBCF).
Licensed builders and swimming pool builders who attend one of the seminars will earn 2 CPD points for full attendance and a partner or associate can also receive 2 CPD point for their full attendance.
The three seminars are being held in Penrith, Five Dock and Leumeah on March 5, March 12 and March 26 respectively.
