The PayPal Here app, PayPal’s dongle-based payment system used by businesses is now available on Android tablets.
Through the PayPal Here app, businesses are able to receive credit card, debit card and mobile payments from their customers by having them check-in via the consumer PayPal app. Businesses are also able to do work behind the scenes on the app by being able to manage their inventory, taxes and products, customise sales experiences and monitoring sales activities. Businesses are also able to make immediate sales by swiping credit and debit cards.
The app was already available on Android smartphones, however it is now available on tablets due to the ease that comes with using a larger screen. The app’s availability at the moment is limited both in country and tablet form.
The app is only currently available in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong and Japan. The app currently only works on a selected range of ASUS Nexus, ASUS Transformer, Samsung Galaxy and Sony Experia Z tablets.
