Pre-Loved Buildings Forum call for presentations

presentation-1559937_640

Back in October, RACCA Australia published an article providing details on AIRAH’s 2017 events. Now AIRAH have put a call out for presentations for one of them–their Pre-Loved Buildings Forum.

AIRAH have stated on their website that the Forum will offer “an insight into understanding the drivers behind the decision to reuse a building, as well as the unique constraints of a retrofit, adaptive reuse or refurbishment project.” Their website also states that the Forum will involve hearing updates from government, case studies and lessons learnt, and that an overview of the latest research will be provided.

The Pre-Loved Buildings Forum technical committee are calling for presentations on a variety of topics, including but not limited to: energy efficiency, building tuning, government updates, rating tool systems, lessons learnt from improving the performance of existing buildings, retrofit and refurbishment case studies, the impacts of digitisation on existing buildings, and the latest research and technologies.

Registrations are now open for attendees, with early bird rates available until July 3.

The Pre-Loved Buildings Forum is being held at Doltone House Hyde Park in Sydney, on August 3. More information can be found here.
