Refrigeration 2015 Conference call for abstracts

The conference committee for AIRAH’s Refrigeration 2015 Conference are calling for abstracts.

The Refrigeration 2015 Conference will be held on June 3 in Sydney, following the Refrigeration 2013 Conference that was held in Hobart. AIRAH CEO Phil Wilkinson stated that at the time of the Refrigeration 2013 Conference considerable legislative and regulatory changes were taking place. He also stated that new technology, emerging trends and exciting work taking place in research means that there is plenty to discuss at future conferences.

The calls for abstract mirror his statement with abstracts welcome on subjects including but not limited to: new technologies, research and trends (natural refrigerants, synthetic refrigerants, geothermal and non-vapour compression cycle), case studies (there is particular interest of case studies featuring the replacement of HFCs and HCFCs with natural refrigerants or low-GWP synthetic gases), legislation/standards (developments both in Australia and internationally)  and international market developments (particularly in the US and Europe).

Those who are submitting an abstract should be aware that they are also agreeing to submitting a technical paper, if their application to present is successful. Anyone chosen to present who is not a member of AIRAH will be charged a small fee.

More information on the Refrigeration 2015 Conference can be found here.
