Vipac have opened new refrigeration test chambers.
According to their website, the test chambers have many features including but not limited to: two side-by-side chambers with 6 bays each to enable the testing of 12 refrigerators, energy meters, data loggers, a stabilised voltage system for independent control of each bay, and a chilled water cooling and airflow supply system design.
Their website also stated that the test chambers will be used by global manufacturers to ensure that their products are meeting both Australian and International Standards, and also by Vipac themselves to conduct performance tests for retailers.
The refrigeration test chambers were opened last month by Federal Minister for Industry, Innovation & Science, Greg Hunt.
