Winners of the 2016 Australian Training Awards announced

Back in March, RACCA Australia published an article on applications opening for the 2016 Australian Training Awards.

Now the winners of the Awards under the Business category have been announced by Business.gov.au.

The Awards under the Business category were: the Small Employer of the Year Award, Medium Employer of the Year Award, Large Employer of the Year Award, Australian Apprenticeships–Employer Award and the Industry Collaboration Award.

The winner of the Small Employer of the Year Award was Bond Hair Religion in the ACT.

The winner of the Medium Employer of the Year Award was ProBuild (NT) Pty Ltd in the Northern Territory.

The winner of the Large Employer of the Year Award was Metro Trains Melbourne in Victoria.

The winner of the Australian Apprenticeships–Employer Award was the WPC Group.

The winner of the Industry Collaboration Award was The Skills Exchange–Barangaroo and Darling Harbour in NSW.

There were also Awards for Individuals and Registered Training Organisations. In the Individuals category, nine awards were presented and in the Registered Training Organisations category, four awards were presented.
