The Australian Refrigeration Association will be holding their annual HVAC/R Energy Efficiency Seminar in Sydney next month.
This year’s Seminar, unlike last year’s is being held in Sydney only, at the Australian Turf Club. This year’s Seminar focuses on natural refrigerants and according to the official website, will be “highlighting the transition of the Australian HVAC/R industry to energy efficiency and emissions reduction.”
The official website states that the Seminar “will explore key issues (currently) impacting the Australian HVAC/R industry”. These issues include but are not limited to: HVAC/R energy efficient technologies, identifying & appreciating energy efficiency and Greenhouse Gas emissions reduction, recognising the value of integrated energy efficient engineering, recognising the regulatory requirements to shift to low GWP (Global Warming Potential) refrigerants and education on handling low GWP natural refrigerants.
The Seminar programme consists of several presentations over three key areas–HVAC/R the Industry, Industrial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning & Ventilation–on day one. While day two will involve presentations on heat load management and three workshops, with the day and the Seminar concluding on a Q&A session.
The HVAC/R Energy Efficiency Seminar is being held from Thursday 26 to Friday 27 November.
