AIRAH are holding smoke control and fire dampers courses again this year.
The course flyer states that the one day courses will outline “how AS/NZS 1668.1 applies the principles of smoke control in multi-compartment buildings” and will also “examine the specification, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire and smoke dampers, and (will) provide the information required to determine the proper parameters for selection, installation, commissioning and essential maintenance of fire dampers and smoke dampers in use in buildings.”
The courses are catered for mechanical service designers, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, and maintenance contractors.
The courses will be held in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney on May 22, May 24, May 29, and June 5 respectively.
