Passivhaus is German for “passive house” and presents a growing approach to home design that architecturally insulates room temperature to limit the use of additional energy. The aim of this low cost and environmentally-friendly energy efficient method to limit the use of electrical appliance allows households to save money during these times of increasing energy costs.
