AIRAH have released their conference schedule for this year.

AIRAH stated in their media release how important their conferences are to them and the industry as a whole, describing this year’s conference schedule as “eclectic”.

“We take considerable pride in the curation of our annual conference schedule, which is growing in stature year on year. With conferences covering an eclectic array of HVAC&R related subject matter, the 2018 schedule will appeal to the learning needs of our members, as well as the wider HVAC&R industry.”

AIRAH’s 2018 conference schedule kicks off with the Refrigeration 2018 Conference in Sydney next month. The media release states that the Refrigeration 2018 Conference will try to build on the success of last year’s Conference and that the HFC phasedown will be a key topic.

The schedule continues with the inaugural Resilience Forum in Sydney on July 26, AIRAH stated in their media release that the Forum will “explore the critical role of resilient HVAC&R in the built environment.”

The Solar Heating and Cooling Forum will follow in Brisbane on August 9, which will focus on solar cooling being uniquely suited to the Australian climate.

The Future of HVAC 2018 Conference will follow in Melbourne on September 12-13 with the aim of providing “insight into the issues, practices, technologies, regulation and design approaches affecting the HVAC industry now and into the future.”

AIRAH’s 2018 conference schedule will conclude with the Building Physics Forum in Wollongong on November 22-23, exploring “issues related to air infiltration of the building fabric.”
