AIRAH Commissioning Workshop 2015 program announced

AIRAH have announced their program for their first Commissioning Workshop to be held later this year.

The AIRAH Commissioning Workshop 2015 will be held on Thursday Sepember 10 at The Mint, Sydney. The Workshop will cover several topics, including but not limited to: new technologies & innovations, the benefits of a commissioning being done properly, standardised training, educating technicians on commissioning, commissioning in the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and metering & tuning.

Seven speakers will be providing presentations on these topics–Andrew Crabtree will be speaking on building tuning & the final stage of commissioning, Ian Sprent will be speaking on the impact of water quality on water balance, Mark Jacobson will be speaking on properly sealing building facades, Mike Cover will be speaking on commissioning & overseas trends, Andrew Barr will be speaking on overcoming metering issues and James Frese will be speaking on chilled water systems in buildings. The seventh speaker is yet to be identified.

AIRAH CEO Phil Wilkinson stated in an AIRAH media release that the value-for-money Workshop “could be just the thing for anyone wishing to be brought up to speed on Australian commissioning issues.”

The AIRAH Commissioning Workshop 2015 costs $295 for AIRAH members to attend, $395 for non-members to attend, $195 for student AIRAH members to attend and $295 for student non-members to attend.
