AIRAH are forming a new DA19 HVAC&R Maintenance workgroup and are looking for new members.
According to AIRAH’s media release, the workgroup will work with AIRAH’s project team to “review, revise and contribute to Australia’s HVAC&R industry’s best practice guide for maintenance.”
The media release also states that the workgroup will bring together key industry stakeholders, which will include but are not limited to: experts in HVAC&R maintenance and service, building owners/managers, property/facility managers, and consultants.
The commitment of the workgroup will consist of an initial kick-off teleconference chaired by AIRAH Board member, Bryon Price, to ensure the revised DA19 manual is “relevant for a constantly changing marketplace”. This will be followed by monthly meetings, and continuous electronic contact and input. The expectation of commitment from members will be 40 to 60 hours between now and September.
The news of AIRAH forming the workgroup comes as the findings and recommendations of the 2017 DA19 HVAC&R Maintenance Survey were released.
Expressions of interests to join the workgroup are due this Friday, February 9. More information can be found here.
