AIRAH are holding a humidity and mould prevention seminar next month.
According to the seminar brochure, there will be a focus on three specific topics: condensation in the built fabric, condensation regulation and risk analysis, and effective mould strategies for HVAC.
The condensation in the built fabric topic will focus on the science of the built fabric to condensation, and the health implications of condensation and mould.
The condensation regulation and risk analysis topic will focus on Australia’s primarily thermal approach of the management of building fabric and the context of this management type with building regulations in other countries.
The effective mould strategies for HVAC topic will focus on residual coil cleaners and the advantages of sterilising coils with ultra-violet light.
The seminar is being held on February 21 in Brisbane.
