AIRAH will be hosting a seminar on high-rise residential HVAC design next week.
The seminar will consists of two presentations. The first presentation will be from Blake Mortimer from Daikin Australia, who will be speaking about common outdoor plant designs and recommended design parameters. According to the seminar brochure, Mortimer’s presentation will also focus on overcoming the difficulties of finding space to install outdoor units and installations that will improve system performance.
The second presentation will be from Peter Lowndes, Director of EecMec, who will be speaking about what HVAC systems to use for high-rise residential buildings. The seminar brochure also states that his presentation will also focus on who will be paying for the system and the weaknesses of certain systems.
The seminar is being held next Wednesday (March 16). It is free for AIRAH members to attend and $55 for non-members to attend.
