AIRAH’s WA division will be holding a presentation on the electrical connection of tri-generation systems next week.
The presentation will explore the fact that a varying building electricity demand can cause issues in tri-generation systems. It will also explore demand-side management, peak-load lopping and variable-output control as strategies to overcome the issues.
The presentation will provide an overview of grid connection of tri-generation systems to the Perth electricity as well as the background of the Perth electricity network. The presentation will also explore why grid connection is necessary and the considerations that need to be made when implementing tri-generation systems.
The presentation will be lead by Elliot Alfirevich, Principal and Electrical Project Engineer at Wood and Grieve Engineers and Beau Logue, Mechanical Project Engineer, also at Wood and Grieve Engineers.
The presentation is being held at the State Library of Western Australia on Wednesday April 29. The presentation is free for AIRAH members and $55 for non-AIRAH members to attend. RSVPs must be in by Tuesday April 28.
More information on the presentation, including where to register, can be found here.
