AIRAH will be holding a presentation on efficient and cost-effective water-based HVAC systems in Canberra tonight.
Peter Nemec will be leading the presentation and has extensive knowledge in the HVAC industry. Nemec’s extensive knowledge in the HVAC industry includes but is not limited to a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, specialising in HVAC and experience in working for leading European HVAC companies.
Nemec will cover several topics in his presentation, including but not limited to: chilled beams, demand-controlled ventilation, as well as latent and sensible heat recovering using sorptic wheels. The use of sorptic wheels can reduce the size and operating costs of a central plant. The topics covered in the presentation will focus on what is appropriate for the ACT climate.
