AIRAH have published a revised resource for training in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
Australian Refrigeration and Air-conditioning, Volumes 1 and 2, was authored by AIRAH member, Graham Boyle. The AIRAH website states that the fifth editions bring a new dimension to the resource as it is in a full colour format, complete with hundreds of updated and upgraded images and improved text. The revisions aim for easier reading and understanding.
The AIRAH website also states that Volume 1 focuses on “new trends, such as the industry’s increased focus on efficiency and sustainability, while continuing to provide comprehensive coverage of industry principles and equipment.” Volume 2 focuses on “the factors that affect the efficient operation of refrigeration and air conditioning plant and equipment, including explaining the use of the pressure-enthalpy diagram and psychometric charts as key diagnostic tools, to help maintain peak efficiency.”
