Back In May, RACCA Australia published an article with information on AIRAH’s 2016 Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Courses.

Now AIRAH have published updates on their courses, including new dates and a new course.

AIRAH will host three Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Courses throughout the year—Industrial Ammonia Plant Operations, Ammonia Emergency Response and Ammonia Safety Awareness.

In RACCA Australia’s previous article, it was stated that the Industrial Ammonia Plant Operations course was scheduled from June 28 to June 30 in QLD and July 18 to 20 in VIC. Now another Industrial Ammonia Plant Operations course is being held in QLD from August 29 to 31.

In RACCA Australia’s previous article, it was stated that the Ammonia Emergency Response course was scheduled on July 1 in QLD and July 21 in Victoria, with a date yet to be announced for NSW. Now another Ammonia Emergency Response course is being held in QLD on September 1, with a date still to be announced for NSW.

AIRAH have also provided information on their Energy Efficient Industrial Refrigeration course. According to AIRAH’s website, their Energy Efficient Industrial Refrigeration course “identifies and discusses best practice for making temperature-controlled warehouses and cooling, chilling and freezing within food processing and other facilities, more energy efficient.”

AIRAH’s website also states that the course “aims to improve energy efficiency in industrial refrigeration systems by changing the operating practices of food processing companies, cold storage and refrigerated warehouses and the allied trades that support them.”

According to AIRAH’s website, the industries that may benefit from this course would be the refrigerated warehouse facilities and food processing & manufacturing industries. The course is designed for plant engineers and supervisors/managers, as well as facility and sustainability managers.

Dates for the Energy Efficient Industrial Refrigeration Course are yet to be announced.
