AIRAH’s DA15 manual open for comment

manual-154693_1280

AIRAH’s DA15–Air Filters and Cleaning Devices manual is open for comment.

AIRAH’s DA15 manual is described on their website as a “fact filled publication on the selection and application of filters for air conditioning and ventilation.”

The manual is split up into six sections: an introduction, theory of filtration, air filter performance characteristics, testing methods, types of air filters, and filter selection and installation (including application guidelines for the full range of buildings in which filters are used).

Comments are invited on technical content, wording and general arrangement of the DA15. Comments are open until 1 May.

This isn’t the first time that AIRAH have opened their DA manuals for comment, they released their DA09–Air Conditioning Load Estimation for public comment in January.

The draft DA15–Air Filters and Cleaning Devices, as well as more information on how and where to comment, can be found here.
