AIRAH will be hosting seminars on updates to Australian fire standards next month.
The seminars will focus on the updates to AS1668.1, AS1682 and AS1670 and will be held in every capital city, with the exception of Darwin.
According to its brochure, the seminars will focus on key changes, including but not limited to: hot-layer smoke-control systems, changes to carpark ventilation & baseline data requirements, flame and spark arrestance in kitchen exhausts and the transfer of fire detection & various dampers from one fire standard to another.
AIRAH have stated on their website that the seminars are ideal for industry authorities, designers, manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, managers and owners.
The seminars kick off in Melbourne on March 1, followed by Canberra on March 2, Sydney on March 8, Brisbane on March 10, Perth on March 16, Adelaide on March 22 and concluding in Hobart on March 23.
Registrations for the seminars are open, however the Melbourne seminar is full.
