APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITIES: 2020 Woolworths Refrigeration Apprenticeship Program

 

Woolworths have launched a Refrigeration Apprenticeship Program focused on environmentally conscious sustainability and innovation. The four-year apprenticeship program will give you the opportunity to work with some of the most advanced refrigeration systems in the industry.

The program will commence in 2021 and give you the opportunity to:

  • Be exposed to the latest refrigeration technologies, ongoing support and training
  • Join one of Australia’s largest refrigeration employers where we put safety and our customers first
  • Share ideas and collaborate with a cohort of apprentices nationally
  • Learn from experts in the field and feel encouraged to contribute
  • Gain exposure to the installation and service of refrigeration systems

 

The successful applicant should have:

  • A willingness to learn and a commitment to the full Apprenticeship lifecycle incorporating on and off job training
  • An ability to travel to different sites, and even from site to site through the day
  • Ideally, a current valid Motor Vehicle Drivers Licence
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail with good numerical and mechanical reasoning skills
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • To be eligible you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
