An air conditioning company based in Victoria has violated the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Act 1989 which bans the importation of HCFC without a license. The ozone-depleting HCFC substance was identified as R22, was used by the company to fill disposable cylinders.
