ARBS News

ARBS has big news.

Registrations for ARBS 2016’s seminar program will be opening next week.

According to a report by Climate Control News, the impressive seminar line up includes a panel discussion on a new building standard, the WELL Building Standard.

According to the report, the WELL Building Standard, which was established in the U.S. by the International WELL Building Institute, uses evidence-based medical and scientific research to harness the built environment as a vehicle to support human health and well being.

Panellists for the discussion include the Green Building Council of Australia CEO, Romilly Madew, International WELL Building Institute executive, Tony Armstrong, NDY Sustainability group leader, Mark McKenna and NDY Global Sustainability Director and Energy Efficiency Council President, Tony Arnel, who will be the moderator.

Registrations for ARBS 2016’s seminar program open on Monday (March 21).

Climate Control News’ report can be read in full here.

As well as the announcement of the seminar registrations, ARBS have also announced that they will be hosting the 2016 WorldSkills Australia National Refrigeration Competition.

The ARBS website states that the Competition will involve Australia’s top ten refrigeration industry apprentices, trainees and students competing against their peers to showcase their skills and trade in a variety of projects and tests.

ARBS Exhibition Manager, Sue Falcke, stated that “ARBS is the perfect forum to host the National Refrigeration Competition, it puts the spotlight directly on participants to shine and display their talent in front of the industry elite, who will be in attendance.”
