Building Simulation Conference call for abstracts

AIRAH are calling for abstracts for their 2017 Building Simulation Conference.

According to AIRAH’s website, the Conference will “provide a unique forum for the exchange of ideas and information between simulation researchers, simulation developers, building designers and government legislators.” The Conference will also explore “how simulation is helping to improve building performance and will be an excellent opportunity to keep up to date with the latest innovations in the field of simulation and the energy performance of buildings.”

AIRAH are calling for abstracts for the Conference and state that will comprise of a combination of “academic and industry technical papers and posters on the latest in building simulation.” The Conference’s committee are calling for abstracts on a variety of topics, including but not limited to: building energy simulation, lighting and daylighting simulation, calibration of models for deep retrofits, thermal comfort modelling, occupant behaviours and urban scale modelling.

Abstracts submissions are open until February 17.

AIRAH’s website states that the Conference is aimed at building designers, architects, design engineers, simulation researchers and developers, building physicists, regulators, manufacturers and building owners/operators.

The Building Simulation Conference is being held on November 15 to 16 in Melbourne, however a specific venue in Melbourne is yet to be announced.
