Women & Leadership Australia are running a national initiative to support the development of female leaders across the trade skills and engineering industries.
According to a statement from Women & Leadership Australia, from September this year, the initiative has and will continue to provide women in the trade skills and engineering industries grants for leadership development.
The grants are available for women on three levels of leadership–aspiring talent, mid-level management and senior management and executive level.
The aspiring talent grant provides a $3,000 part-scholarship for emerging female managers to undertake a six-month Accelerated Leadership Performance Program.
The mid-level management grant provides a $4,000 part-scholarship for mid-level female managers to undertake a seven-month Executive Ready Program.
The senior management and executive level grant provides a $8,000 part-scholarship for senior female managers to undertake a 12-month, part time Advanced Leadership Program.
All of the programs comprise of a combination of online and face-to-face learning, with theoretical and practical elements. For those are who are interested in applying for a grant, an expression of interest form can be found here.
