Mr Kevin O’Shea, President of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association (RACCA) has been appointed to AISC’s Industry Reference Committee for Electrotechnology.

The Industry Reference Committee for Electrotechnology is responsible for shaping the training technicians undertake as part of the UEE11 Electrotechnology Training Package.

Mr O’Shea emphasised the contribution that RACCA will bring to the Committee.

“Being a part of this high-level Committee will enable RACCA to contribute to the development of training for technicians in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector.

“RACCA is committed to supporting the professionalism of the contracting industry and assisting members in the development and maintenance of the highest possible standards for the industry. Our membership on the Electrotechnology Committee is a very important instrument for allowing us to do this.”

The Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) prioritises the development of training packages based on industry demand for skills across sectors. AISC relies on the input and expertise of leading industry groups to help guide training development for various industries in Australia.
