Business.gov.au have published a list of crucial dates for small business owners for the current financial year, to assist them with their tax requirements.
The list of crucial dates begins with July 1, the beginning of the new financial year, however going from today’s date forward, the next crucial date for small business owners is 21 October, when annual PAYG instalments are due.
The list of crucial dates goes on to include when quarterly superannuation payments and quarterly BAS statements are due, as well as the deadlines for changing PAYG and GST reporting options. The list also includes when PAYG annual reports, and individual tax, and fringe benefits tax (FBT) returns are due.
The list of crucial dates concludes with 30 June, the last day of the financial year.
