Business.gov.au have published information for employers on how to manage and benefit from flexible working arrangements with their employees.
Business.gov.au specify the type of flexible working arrangements that employers can provide their employees, such as the ability to work from home, changing working times and split shifts.
Business.gov.au also provide a list of benefits from flexible working arrangements, which include but are not limited to: improving staff morale, reducing absenteeism and reducing staffing costs. However for employers to be able to reap these benefits, they need to be able to manage these arrangements. Management techniques can include having a clear policy on flexible working arrangement and constantly staying informed of the policy and individual employee arrangements.
