Business.gov.au have published tips for business owners on how to manage online reviews and what benefits they can reap from them.
Business.gov.au’s emphasise the benefits that business owners can reap from online customer reviews, which include but are not limited to: more customers, free advertising, opportunities for customer engagement, improvement in search engine results and the opportunity to learn from and respond to negative feedback.
For business owners to fully reap the benefits of online reviews, they first need to learn how to manage them. Business.gov.au provides four tips for successfully managing online customer reviews: monitor reviews, inform customers what review sites their business is on, work out who will manage the review process and respond to reviews professionally.
Business.gov.au also provide tips on how to manage negative reviews, as well as the facts and rules around fake or misleading reviews.
