The ICR, which is held every four years, covers all technical issues of refrigeration. The ICR 2015 will cover cryology, gas processing, thermodynamics, equipment & systems, biology & food technology, storage & transport, as well as air conditioning, heat pumps and energy recovery.
Early bird registration includes regular participants (AUD$918), IIR members (AUD$803), member of IIR statutory bodies (also AUD$803), students (AUD$367), one day and two day participants (AUD$459) and an accompanying person (restricted to a participant’s family member, AUD$183). There are also calls for workshop proposals, sponsorship and exhibition booths. Workshop proposal and sponsorship & exhibition booth applications close on February 28 and May 15 respectively.
At the ICR 2015, the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) is sponsoring an undergraduate student project competition–“ICR2015 Refrigeration for the Sustainable Cold Chain and Food Safety”. The competition is open to students from engineering schools and projects should focus one essential international issue relating to food safety and availability. The competition closes on March 20.
The ICR 2015 will be held from August 16 to 22 in Yokohama. More information on ICR 2015 can be found here.
